[14:32] Ensyther> and to answer your question adrian, the guild has decided a looting type for better equipment in the molten core. a system that I don't exactly agree with.
[14:35] Rabbit-Sama> why? whats wrong with it?
[14:36] Ensyther> it works on a point system based on attendance. you get 1 point for being at the start of the run, 1 point for sticking until the end, and an additional point for each boss killed.
[14:36] Ensyther> you spend these points to be eligible on rolls for epic items which will drop off mobs (both normal and boss) in the dungeon. if you don't have the points, you're not eligible to roll.
[14:37] Ensyther> you can also buyout drops at 3 times their point value (each item type is given a point value, which is set as the item's cost in points).
[14:37] Ensyther> so it basically rewards the hardcore players that can deal with the molten core time and again, while the more casual players are left in the dust.
[14:41] Rabbit-Sama> wel that sucks ass
[14:45] Ensyther> yeah, it does. the worst part is that this is how EVERYONE does it, so it's not like people are going to accept any other system.
[14:46] Ensyther> \they use this method as a way from preventing "hurt feelings". if the rolsl are done randomly to the people who need it, and a person who has been running about 6 times loses an item to someone who's in on their first time, they consider the dismay of the person who's been there longer a higher priority.
[14:46] Ensyther> fuck that, I say.
[14:46] Rabbit-Sama> yup, i agree
